BARRIO FIESTA 2009

RAPS Annual Barrio Fiesta is an orginal self-produced play put on by the members of RAPS.

When:
Saturday, April 18th, 2009

Where:
Lucy Stone Hall Auditorium, Livingston Campus
DINNER: 5:30 PM
SHOW: 7:00 PM

Cost:
$10 includes dinner!

PLOT:

"MADE IN THE PHILIPPINES" follows the adventures of several Filipino-American college students attending the fictitious school of Pacific Bay University in California. We are introduced to unique and funny characters including: the typical valley girl, the nerdy geek, the suave and cool FOB, the weirdo, the effeminate man, the creepy goth, among others. The play focuses on the themes of assimilation, acculturation, and the struggles of being raised as a Filipino-American.

Come watch this show and experience lots of love, loss, and laughter. With performances by:
RDT (RAPS Dance Troupe)
RCDT (RAPS Cultural Dance Troupe)
...along with other surprises! Definitely an event not to be missed!
